About Stasia Reisfield
Stasia Reisfield brings a a lifelong passion for art, fashion and accessories to her current position as founder and creative director for the 1G Collection, in addition to a successful entrepreneurial background in finance and commercial real estate. She was born in Washington, D.C. and currently resides in San Francisco with her husband.
Her classically beautiful and sophisticated style, inspired by icons like Greta Garbo, is reflected in the design of the limited edition handbags of the 1G Collection.
Stasia's desire is for her handbags to enhance the appearance of the wearer, rather than drawing attention to a marketing label. As handbags continue to take the spotlight as the new "signature accessory", 1G designs provide women with gorgeous, original pieces to complement their individual styles.
Response to the 1G Collection since the company's launch in San Francisco in 2008 has been overwhelmingly positive, with several of the initial designs selling out immediately. The 1G Collection was also honored recently by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, winning a silver award for design.
